Future Homeowners Get Progress Report Leading Up to
Habitat for Humanity’s PGA Week “Blitz Build”
What: Nelson Galletti and Vanice Rosario will take part in an on-site status update regarding preparations for Habitat for Humanity’s upcoming “Blitz Build.” Galletti family members are becoming the beneficiaries of the construction project in Rochester’s JOSANA neighborhood, which is taking place in conjunction with the 95th PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club Aug. 5-11.
More than 100 volunteers from the PGA TOUR Wives Association, PGA of America Spouses, and volunteers from Oak Hill will descend on the Whitney Street location that week to build a three-bedroom home as part of the first Rochester-area Blitz Build since 2006.
The media is welcome to meet Galletti family members and discuss their excitement to see their future home taking shape.
